Thought I’d share a little tip:
After you’ve created your WordPress site do not go back into Settings: General and change the WordPress url address!
I did this and corrupted my site. Thank goodness for James at Bluehost who restored the site back to the way it was before my HUGE, HORRIBLE, and POSSIBLE TIME AND EFFORT CONSUMING mistake.
Once you enter that url in the General Settings that is where all your files are stored – Do Not Attempt to Change It.
I do think WordPress should have an alert notice/flag in the event a newbie at WordPress, like me, attempts something stupid.
Live and Learn!
